The Make package contains a program for compiling packages.

Required disk space: 7.1 MB
Installation depends on: Bash, Binutils, Coreutils, Diffutils, GCC, Gettext, Glibc, Grep, and Sed

6.49.1. Installation of Make

Prepare Make for compilation: 

./configure --prefix=/usr

Compile the package: 

make

To test the results, issue: make check.

Install the package: 

make install
